The proposed Health Insurance Package includes a 120% increase in deductibles and premiums. The two entities filed an injunction against the city in October. It claimed the city violated its current contract agreement with the unions by not consulting union leaders to negotiate new health care benefits.After today’s ruling, negotiations regarding wages are now reopened. The Evansville City Council will also address the Firefighters’ contract at its next meeting.
