Xolo Win Q900s Windows Phone 8.1 device goes on sale for Rs 9,800

first_imgXolo has been making a lot of headway in the Indian market. Last month it announced the Q900s, which is its first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone and now the phone is available with online retailers for Rs 9,800. Earlier, Microsoft had announced Xolo as one of its newer hardware partners. Some of the new entrants in the Windows Phone ecosystem also include Micromax, which had unveiled its Canvas Win line of Windows Phones last month. Of late, there has been a proliferation of Windows Phone OEMs as Microsoft has eliminated the licensing fee for the OS.For the uninitiated, the Xolo Win Q900s sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz working in concert with 1GB of RAM and the Adreno 302 GPU. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera, a microSD card slot, 8GB of internal storage, and a 1,800mAh battery. It’s also a dual-SIM smartphone and is touted as one the lightest smartphones in the market as it weight only 100 grams. To give some perspective, the iPhone 5S weighs 112grams. It will do battle with the likes of the Canvas Win, though it will also be flanked by the new wave of high-quality affordable Android smartphones like the Moto G. Follow writer on Twitter @DigitallyBoneslast_img
