4-Star TE Keon Zipperer Makes College Decision

Among them is four-star recruit Keon Zipperer.The 6-foot-2, 240-pound pass catcher is ranked No. 136 overall in the country by 247Sports. He’s the fourth-ranked tight end in the country, and the No. 18 player in the Sunshine State.Entering the day, the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes were the two programs most heavily involved with Zipperer. Alabama and LSU were also listed as finalists by ESPN, and had hats on the table.Moments ago, Keon Zipperer made his pledge to the Florida Gators.He and teammates Deyavie Hammond and Lloyd Summerall, both fellow four-star recruits, committed live on ESPN2 during its signing day coverage.His two teammates will be joining him as well.Hammond was the first to announce to Florida, followed by Summerall, and finally Zipperer, capping off a huge day in Lakeland for the Gators.Dan Mullen goes 3-for-3 at Lakeland.— Kevin McGuire (@KevinOnCFB) December 19, 2018With the trio of commitments, Florida should shoot up the rankings.
